This Japanese manufactured late variation pistol grip wood stock is for the late (last ditch) Type 99 Arisaka bolt action rifle in 7.7 caliber and is in very good condition containing numerous light dings, dents, scratches and possibly a short crack. There are no major cracks or chips present. The stock is designed for the wood butt plate, late variation rear sling swivel and the larger diameter recoil lug (all of which are sold separately) and the foreward most wood section on this rifle located ahead of the rear barrel band is a separate piece which we list and sell separately.    (file photos)
